Welcome to the Spiritual Hospice -- a Catholic prayer ministry for the dying. We are a group of dedicated men and women called to offer our prayer — “The Chaplet of Divine Mercy” — on behalf of those souls who are nearing the hour of their death. Through this simple yet powerful prayer, we humbly ask God to have mercy on the dying person’s soul. We pray for all those at the end of life and their families, wherever they may be. Ven. Mother Mary Potter urges us: "Pray for the dying today, those for whom tomorrow will be too late." Our Blessed Lord Jesus also asks us to pray for the dying. He said to Sister Faustina: "Pray as much as you can for the dying. By your petitions obtain for them trust in My mercy, because they have most need of trust, and have it the least. Be assured that the grace of eternal salvation for certain souls in their final moment depends on your prayer." (Diary, 1777).
